SimplyHookedCrochet is one of the best tutorial-teacher people I've found. She's so lovely and really does a nice job.

Oh yes, I agree. I originally was doing these types of hats with working in the round. (Using the Urban Jungle hat pattern from Raverly) But crocheting in a rectangle and sewing together the sides and top makes it look much neater, surprisingly. Also, I love the FP BP brim. :P

The Urban Jungle hat is my all time favorite slouch hat, and the hat that people have bought from me the most. It's so simple. But this one is extremely cute.
